The Oakland Athletics are another Major League Baseball team established in the year of 1901 and based in Oakland, California since 1968. The team is a member of the Western Division of Major League Baseball’s American League. The Athletics have played in the Oakland from the year of 1968. The team nickname “the A’s” is show the black letter “A”. The Athletics are one of the only two MLB team which are still sharing a stadium with an NFL team.

The Manager of the team is Bob Geren and the team has six coaches which are playing. The colors of the team are green, gold and white and the logo of the team has a black letter “A’s” the team also uses an elephant logo. The Athletics have very strong and young players. The A’s won six consecutive American League West titles and reach the World Series five times.

The latest of the Oakland Athletics season 2010 is the upcoming season and 43rd for the franchise in the Bay Area, over and above the 110th in the club history.
